And yet cocoa largely determines the success of our family business. We are convinced that the future of cocoa farmers is inevitably tied up with our own. After all, we can only make delicious chocolate if they provide us with quality cocoa. So to secure our own future, we must make sure that we support a sustainable future for the cocoa farmers and for their families. That’s why today we have made an important choice.

    From now on, all the cocoa that is used to make our chocolate is cocoa of a new generation. It is grown sustainably by cocoa farmer cooperatives in Ivory Coast and Cameroon. And that’s not all. It’s also the purest cocoa ever grown in the world.

  • A great continuation of artisan tradition

    The Caluwé́ family holds dear to its traditions. Since the very beginning, we have created our own croquant, caramel, praliné́ and other fillings by hand according to authentic recipes. And we will continue to do so for generations to come.
    Quality assurance is what connects every Caluwé́ generation to the next. We only use the finest quality raw materials and combine them with passion and attention to detail to ensure a consistently high quality. Each and every chocolate that leaves our workshop has passed through the caring hands of our chocolate experts. Literally. Because we still decorate each praline by hand. We now also find the same appreciation for quality in our cocoa.
